"Packaging was okay, but the whole thing felt a bit off"
I ordered from horticulturesource.com and my stuff did show up, so I’ll give them that, but the packaging wasn’t anything special. The box had a few dents and one corner was crushed, which made me a little nervous when I saw it on the porch.
Luckily nothing was completely ruined, but I still expected a bit more care with how it was packed. What annoyed me too was that some of the terms seemed to change from what I thought I was agreeing to when I ordered, which just made the whole experience feel less straightforward. Not the worst order ever, but definitely room for improvement.

"Checkout was actually easy"
I’ll admit, the checkout process was smoother than I expected. It was quick and simple to get through. My only gripe is that the shipping cost didn’t show up until the end, which I’m not a huge fan of, but overall it worked fine.

I liked the product and it was good quality, but the delivery cost feels a bit too high. I probably would’ve ordered more if shipping wasn’t adding so much.

"Backorder was a little annoying, but they handled it okay"
A couple of the items in my order ended up being on backorder, i didn’t catch that at first. So yeah, the shipping took longer than I was hoping, which was a bit frustrating. But to be fair, they did email me with updates and let me know I could either wait it out or make a change.
I decided to just wait, and everything did show up in the end with nothing missing. It wasn’t a perfect experience because delays are never fun, but the communication was decent. I’d probably order from them again, I’d just double-check what’s in stock first next time.

"Really solid selection for grow supplies"
I was looking for a few random hydro parts and ended up finding almost everything I needed on horticulturesource.com. They had a bunch of sizes and brands not just one choice like some other sites. It made it easy to compare stuff and add what I needed. The site was simple to use too. I’d definitely shop here again just for the selection

The prices seemed fair compared to a few other places I checked, and I feel like I got solid value for what I paid. I’m not sure it’s the absolute cheapest option out there, but for my order, it was definitely worth it

"Shipping took way too long"
I ordered from Horticulture Source and the shipping was much slower than I expected. The tracking barely updated, so I had no real idea where my order was. I reached out a couple times and kept getting different answers, which just made it more frustrating. The items were fine once they finally arrived, but the whole waiting around and not getting consistent info kind of ruined the experience for me.

I stopped in with a few basic growing questions the answers were kind of all over the place. The staff didn’t seem too sure about what they were saying, so I ended up leaving more confused than when I walked in. If you’re looking for solid advice, I’d save your time and go somewhere else.

I’ve had such a frustrating experience. I had to keep chasing them for every single update, and nobody seemed to take responsibility or get back to me properly. The communication was so poor that I ended up escalating the complaint, but even then it felt like I was the one doing all the follow-up. Really disappointing.

"Specs didn’t match what I received"
I ordered this based on the specs listed on horticulturesource.com because I needed it for a specific setup, but what arrived didn’t match the product page. The size and details were off enough that it caused a real hassle, especially since my card was charged right away and there wasn’t any helpful update or heads-up about the mismatch.
When I reached out to customer service, it felt like I had to convince them their own listing was wrong. It was frustrating and annoying overall, and I don’t think I’d trust the product info on their site again.

Maybe it’s just me, but it’s frustrating when an item shows as in stock and then after ordering it turns out it isn’t available. It felt like a waste of time, and I wish the stock info had been updated before I placed the order.

My order showed up fine. No issues there. I did have a question though, and customer service took a couple days to get back to me. Kinda annoying. They did answer eventually and helped me out, so it wasn’t a bad experience. Just slower than I’d like. Overall, okay. Not great, not terrible

I accidentally ordered the wrong thing and had to send it back. I reached out to horticulturesource.com and they replied fast, maybe later that day or around then. The refund came through without any big hassle or weird back-and-forth. Overall it was a simple enough process, and I’d probably order from them again...

I got my order and, a few of the items didn’t look as nice in person as they did in the photos. One piece felt kind of flimsy right away and didn’t hold up for very long, which made me question the overall quality. Shipping was fine and everything arrived on time, but for the price, I expected the products to feel a bit better.

"Easy local pickup, just had to wait a bit"
I ordered a few grow supplies from horticulturesource.com and chose local pickup. The checkout process was simple, and the pickup email came through quickly, so that part was smooth.
When I got there, the guy at the counter was helpful and found my order, but it took around 10 minutes to get everything together. It wasn’t a huge issue, I was just in a bit of a rush that day.
Everything was packed well and the prices seemed fair. I’d definitely order from them again, especially for local pickup, but hopefully next time it’s a little quicker.
